Centrifugal Pump Performance is an application to estimate performance of any centrifugal pump operating with any viscous liquid. It is a frequent occurrence that a centrifugal pump will operate at site conditions with fluids of varying density and viscosity. Engineers often struggle to decide whether the existing pump, which was designed for an altogether different fluid system, will perform as expected and what discharge head would develop when operating at different conditions.
The software lets you input the vendor design profile, which is usually based on water, and then generate appropriate pump performance curves. These profiles and graphs include pump head, discharge pressure, break horse power, water horsepower, temperature rise in the pump impeller and the system curve where the pump needs to operate.
